Moronbeat


Firstly Moronbeat (Selangor, Malaysia) heard about chiptune music or 8bit when it was mid year 2007. After watched several performance by one of the most popular chiptuner from Indonesia which is JW86 (Moronbeat’s favourite chiptuner) at Youth’08, PWTC. From that, Ewen(Moronbeat) started to admire and study deeply into this music industry of chiptune. He inspired his music by old cartoon movie and happy cute tune. Although Moronbeat is still new in this chiptune music, he’s managed to produce 3 songs ;‘Morontester’, ‘Fakiyuu’ and ‘Bubble of Love’. With his joy and love with chiptune music.

another chiptuner and chip music dj. He is one of the biggest contributor to this community as he is the manager. He is the one to go to when everything is chaotic.
With his will power and money( a lot of his money) he made the chiptunes accessable to us chiptuner and to the followers. Started to play by listening to indonesian chiptunes
in the likes of local drug store, cacat nada,etc. he learns how to use trackers and started producing sons. He is also the one and only chip music dj in malaysia.

mikrochip no 32

as you guys know he is one of the founder of this wonderful and colourful community.
he is the one is responsible for most of the activity of this movement. with his infectious tunes and great will, he recruit the best of malaysian and indonesian chiptuners(which is studying in malaysia) to bring a new genre to every body to enjoy.By listening to all type of music, back in 2007, Mikrochip no32, a graphic student, falling in love with chiptune music after his friend, Luie gave him a chiptune song called ‘ITSUMADEMO’ by JW86 from Indonesia. Attracted to the cute sound and the chiptune effect, Mikrochip no32 researched about chiptune music on the intenet and found free software called, Famitracker. Started from that, the journey to explore more chiptune music began.

Some of event/show that Mikrochip no32 performed are at Rantai Merdeka at Jaya One, Independent Soiree at Bukit Jelutong, UiTM, Shah Alam, pipit 2nd annyversary at barsonic, zouk club and youth 09, pwtc
